Please join us in welcoming Linda Kilbane as our interim Executive Director.  Linda transitioned from her role as vice-chair and dedicated volunteer to E.D. on January 30.  Linda has agreed to take on this role on a part time basis as we begin our search for a full time Executive Director.  Thank you Linda.

The North Country R.I.D.E. offices are closed for the winter.  We are available by phone (218-879-7608) or e-mail (ncride@gmail.com) during the off season.  The Spring Session will begin on April 23, with registration opening on February 13.  Check our website in early spring for the Volunteer training date. See you all in the spring!

North Country R.I.D.E.'s Special Olympics team, The North Country Wranglers, competed in the state games in North Branch, MN and took home 11 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals, 4 Bronze medals, and 3 4th place ribbons. The drill team also took home Gold. Congratulations to all 7 riders that competed this year! We look forward to more success next year!

Through the Lake Superior Initiative Grant that we received in 2010 and along with the guidance of HBH Consultants, North Country R.I.D.E. recently completed a Strategic Plan.

We are very excited to share our plan to revitalize North Country R.I.D.E. so it may reach its full potential in the community. Our updated vision, "A community where all people facing life challenges can find growth and healing through a connection with horses" is the backbone, or foundation, of rebuilding our organization.
